Hans-Jochen Trost – President & Show Coordinator
Jochen’s first documented train ride occurred in Germany when he was barely 4 years old. Starting a few years later, a seasonal HO layout got him into the hobby for some 10 years. When he returned to model railroading in the mid ’90s, it was N scale, the early motive power happened to be dominated by Santa Fe, and the Tex-N club layout was the place to run his trains. These days, he runs both American and European models, still favoring the Santa Fe, and enjoys the comradeship around the modular layouts wherever he may join one.
Rick Reinacker – Secretary
Rick fell in love with trains when he was 5 years old and still loves them today. His dad built the framework of an HO scale model railroad when he was in elementary school. As a teenager Rick switched to N scale because he could get twice the railroad in the same amount of space. In addition, Rick’s cousin gave him an N scale collection! Rick now has a 9′ by 7′ layout in a spare bedroom. Rick joined Tex-N in 2015 because of its friendly members and the quality of the club’s modules.
