Rod Stewart, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, had his first hit song “Maggie May” in 1971. Since then he’s become one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. Rod is also an accomplished model railroader, having built a 23′ by 124′ model railroad on the second floor of his Beverly Hills mansion in California. His railroad was featured several times in Model Railroader Magazine since 2007. You can check out the articles here.
“I pity a man who doesn’t have a hobby like this one — it’s just the most supreme relaxation,” Stewart said. ” Every person should have one hobby that really captures his interest.”
It’s great to share our hobby with Rod Stewart. Model railroading is fun!
